I kinda have a problem with him adopting him, Does he know that manaphy cannot be on the surface for too long otherwise he can fall very ill?

Awkward yes but also gonna be hard for him further down the line.

(Just a little fyi I too played the exploration games so I'm fully aware of the situation and end result.)
