~ The descendant of one of the five who long ago made it to the outerworld from the demon's plane known as the Void, heir to the overseer of Norland, the country formed to protect the outerworld lands from the Void's "corruption", it's capital Eios built over the entrance the five used to connect the two world, acting as the gateway. Born in the depths of the Void, battling childhood sickness while surviving assassination attempts, Ion has grown in his five hundred years of existence to be one of the most powerful beings to ever walk the lands, as a True demon, his being is in sync with the world around him, granting him access to the energy that flow through all things, allowing him to use unimaginable Psynergy. His body has "awakened" to his true being and while he still has the scars and the mechanical arm from the incident that aloud him to "awaken" no future moral wound can affect him, his soul pervious while in it's shell, his very large fluffy tail is said to be multiple tails twirled into one his kyuubi being. Trained to wield a sword from a very young age, combined with his natural talent, Ion is a master of bladed weapons, preferring a dual stance with his sword in left and a multitude of other things, from knifes to firearms in the right, a per found combat master, one that the Hunters are glad to have on their side. As with all demons from the Void, Ion is at home in the shadows, as his home world is covered by them, his red eyes piercing through them as the final nightmare his targets see, as before the sun rises in the darkest of dawn beware the Demon Shadowfox ~
The original design I had for Ion, finally have been able to get him drawn this way, the current colour scheme I have for Ion was what this Ion's true demon form would have looked like (though with bigger fennec ears, more on that in a second), as Ion was a demon of full mixture of red, arctic, fennec and grey fox (with a bit of wolf in there as well) and I created a fur pattern that was suppose to encompass all of that. Over time I started growing more and more attached to Ion's current colour scheme and when I decided to rework my story (as currently Ion is no more a demon) so that it would be easier to understand and work better, I fully adapted Ion's true demon form as his main form so there is the little backstory on how I have my fursona currently. I did plan to have Ion in the same clothing he wears as a demon, though with orange accents instead of red (same with the sword design you see here) but when I first was getting commission, I had a hard time figuring out how to show or explain it to artists so his current clothing ended up from some YCHs (same with the sword as the teeth was just added to a sword that was in one of the YCH I got). While I do like the clothing Ion currently has, there has for a while been a desire for me to return to the clothing design I originally had for him as I do plan on evolving this clothing design into Ion's current design (as I kind of set that up in this story https://inkbunny.net/s/2443053 as to why the clothing will change), I also like having different designs showing different points in Ion's life from when he is younger to when he becomes a kyuubi and this design would show an older Ion that is more battle refined and one that is possibly in the seat of the overseer as well as a Hunter so stay tuned for that
Yes ^^ You can see why I decided to go back more towards Ion's original design (well in terms of the clothing and such) for my 'Stormfox' but the 'Shadowfox' might still have relevance in my story as well :3
Yes those are potion vials that have potions that a demon like Ion should have on hand, same goes for his current design as well since, well again a demon like Ion show have potions like these on hand
