I draw my demon female character Yamika with simple hatching effect with blue and deep pink and purple. when I draw this outline I'm very excited it goes really well, and I decide to use much hatching effect on the character and the background. I think the color on the character turn out great, I really love the hatching effect and her costume become very well, and I really love her horns.
in the background side, in usual I color consistently and try not to keep the subtle white space between the different colors, but on this time I notice the white color make the color contrast and it make the character and background is different thing, and I decide not to fill the color in the white area. I guess when I fill the color it become calm and the character isn't standing out much. I'm really pleased with this art.
