I really love the water. It looks so real. I do have some criticism for it. So, plez don't take it in the wrong way Dx
The depth of the body of water is very questionable to me. I couldn't figure if it is right under the characters or a few feet beneath. Correct me if I'm wrong but is it 4 ft deep? The way jedfox is laying looks like he holding himself out of the water from his heels or his back.
The water almost appears to be from some anime or manga (a specific video game example is Legend of Zelda, the WIndwaker). While the hero or heroine goes for a swim at the beach, he/she jumps in and comes out with a splash. Now picture part of the person to be submerged under the water. Most animes would cut the character and have the blue of the water show over the rest of the body. (There might even be a shadow from the character in the water to give the audience more depth or realism.)
The point I am trying to make is that you pushed the envelope a step to show even more realism. The blue hue of the water is pretty but it is transparent and not opaque. You show this in you piece above. When you do this, you show the viewer that the piece has depth. The question is "how deep is it?" (Was there a method to work the background better? The foreground is great!)

Oh yes i totally agree the water could look way better than it does now ^^U i did try something different instead of my regular toony style, though guess i do need more practice =) And i know what you mean about the windwaker water style =P ive done it before https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6584299/ hence me trying to make this piece a little not too toony looking =)

I am so relieved that you didn't bite my head off. I was trying not to sound hypocritical because I'm a novice at best when I use photoshop or other programs.
But anyway, it still is cool. I was only envious how jedfox could tread water with his bulge dry xD. I can't do it. I'm lucky to keep my head out of the water o.O

oh no its ok =) i always welcome constructive criticism from any person ^0^ if you said you were afraid i get angry because of the comment like above. THOSE comments i dont like =P cuz theyre not helping at all. Theyre very close to comments like "gay" or "this sucks" just being trollish pretty much =) But i digress, thanks for your criticism ^0^ill take note of it
