This character sheet look kitsch ? maybe, but updated nonetheless. Just wanted to remake my ocs' old sheet.
Inner Skill
Halve : The ability to reduce the weight of everything he hold, carry or wear. Generally by half, allowing him to move more freely when wearing armor or bearing weapon, and of course feel less exhausted than his fellow guard. Also useful to carry away incapacitated people.
Weapon
Kristijan's main weapon is a polearm, the one of the Raven-Feathered Squadron. When being knighted in this order, they receive an gold-platted halberd made of the most resistant materials. A special feature of those weapons are the black banner adorning them. This is the symbol of the Raven-feathered Squadron meant to rally the members of the squadron as well as indicating their localization on the battlefield. By the tradition, each members have to give a name to their halberd, Kristijian christianized it "Dahrezač" (Air/Breath-cutter). He also have an ceremonial but functional one-handed sword.
Background
The great-margraviate of Iljarčtin, on Boreas continent. If Iljarčtin is a fiscal-military state ruled by the Great Margrave, the dominion is administrated by five noble hare families, collectively called the Velikaši (Magnates), each owning the title of Župan and a county, and with a special task : Providing the wolf Kingdom of Skandhërik with royal troops. Generally sending the second or third child to get trained as a elite guard for the royal family.
Kristijan is born during the summer 1028 in the Sedlar house, one of the oldest Velikaši and Župan of Bjeliavek county, as their second son. While his brother was tutored to be the head of the head of the family, Kristijan was for his part destined to become a member of the Raven-feathered Squadron : the most prestigious knight order, the elite of Skandhërik royal army.
Of course as a nobleman he also received a classy education, as it is expected from his status, and as an imperative for his future duties at the king's court. His training having paid off, he became one of their best element and was presented to the Skandhërik king, Dashamir Prijar'ujkan II Iskënder. This one needed a personal guard for his son, the Prince Drejtar who was 6 year old, and this Kristijan was picked, becoming his valet and getting the prestigious title of "Royal Defender", a title only given to the accredited bodyguard of the royal heir. Three years to babysit Drejtar was enough for the two of them to from a solid bond.
But then, at the year 1048 the Two-Eagles War started. A defensive war against the invasion of the Raškatjin kingdom. Skandhërik has fallen and the castle was occupied by the enemy troops and their chief, the Stefan Vlastimir Dobroslav-Nemanja VI.
As the last line of defense in the castle, the Raven-Feathered Squadron fought bravely and repelled most of the invading troops in the castle. but were nonetheless taken out by attrition and being outnumbered, resulting to a last stand when only 10 or so member survived on the 40, Kristijan was among them. Being imprisoned for week in the castle, used as a plaything for the troops, he heard the execution -and death- of the king and queen but also the fact Drejtar escaped. Somehow.
Nonetheless, he and the remaining Raven-Feathered Squadron members soon met a fox in the castle, a spy at the service of the Grand-Prince of Ëcastriotar : Hajrudin II Kastrioti i Skënderbej, cousin of the late king of Skandhërik whose prinality freed itself from the assault they have been subject. This one helped the Squadron to escape and rejoin Ëcastriotar's army to lead an assault on the castle. After some days they took back Skandhërik and in the following weeks managed to push back the foe army away. While Hajrudin II made himself regent of Skandhërik, Kristijan decided to go looking for Drejtar.
An investigation hat lasted 17 years until he finally managed to meet the lost Prince, now 25 years old and him 34, he traveled a bit with Drejtar while convincing him to take the throne, but Drejtar instead allowed Hajrudin to reign and place the new Skënderbej dynasty at its head. and freed Kristijan from his duties.
Understanding that a new page turned, Kristijan retired and returned in his home to help manage the county.
