Early last year, Ryan Campbell ( Tube ) asked me if I was interested in drawing a scene from his then-upcoming book, God of Fire. As a fan of the characters, my reaction was understandably something close to “AAAAAAAAAAA!”
Unrelated real-life events made working on this picture a challenge. Self-doubt also reared its ugly head far too many times.
But in the end? This turned out to be the kind of drawing I wish I could have plastered all over my social media the moment I finished it. Let’s be honest: I’m really, really proud of it.
