Background: In the Ancient Homeland of Alderaan where Humans, Elves, Orcs, Goblins, Orcs, Trolls and all kinds of Magical Creatures dwell, a Special Boy was born. His name was Gadrien of House Edland who was born a Human in the Noble Town of Stamford to his parents Lizbeth and Conway Edland.

Gadrien was born with fair skin, brown hair and dark-yellow eyes. He was born into Nobility and raised to be as such. When he was only a boy, Gadrien began to have the same strange dream where he was surrounded by stars and saw a White Mask with bright eyes. Gadrien believed the Gods chose him for a purpose, but his parents thought it was rubbish.

During his childhood, Gadrien tried to play with the other kids and have fun. He liked to run, climb and jump and he got into the art of sword combat. Lizbeth and Conway had no intention of their son being a wild child. They wanted him to be a noble gentleman, to be married and have children of his own with a good Job. Gadrien was tutored the way his parents wanted him to be, but he wanted to be his own person.

When he was 17, he learned that his parents had arranged for him to be married to a young girl from another family. He had met her several times when he was young, but she was complete snob, acting like she was better than others.

The night before his wedding, Gadrien discovered his drawing book that he had since he was a kid, was torn to shreds. He had drawn the masks from his dream in the journal over and over. He threw the journal into the fireplace and the flames ignited into the shape of the mask. Gadrien decided then and there that he had enough and wanted to follow his destiny. Gadrien chose to defy his Family and ran away from home under the cover of night. He gathered things he kept in a small hideaway and fled Stamford, riding north-west.

Gadrien had only been traveling for a few days, but was unsure about what to do or where to go. Suddenly, he found himself being pursued by mercenaries who had been hired by the Edland family to find Gadrien and bring him back. Gadrien refused to comply and began riding to evade them. As the mercenaries gained on him, Gadrien noticed a white fairy and that wanted him to follow it. Gadrien managed to loose the Mercenaries and stopped at a river. He galloped his horse away to distract the mercenaries and he saw the fairy wanted him to jump into the river and he did so.

Gadrien was pulled by the current and eventually washed up on a shore where he was met by a mysterious warrior wearing the mask from his dream. He asked the warriors about the mask and told him of the dream, then the warrior extended his hand to Gadrien and told him to follow. Gadrien was then taken to a Monestary. There, Gadrien saw many warriors in the same armored clothing and masks. He was taken to the Monestaries grand hall and brought before a hooded-robed figure in the white mask.

The hooded figure approached Gadrien and held an orb in front of his face and his eyes began to glow. Afterwords, Gadrien asked what happened and was told they used what was known as the All Seeing Orb to look into his mind and learned about his dreams. The Robed-Masked Figure told Gadrien he was in the presence of an Ancient Order known as Masquerade and that he was the Grandmaster. He told Gadrien that he had been chosen to wear the Mask.

Gadrien followed the Grandmaster down a hallway and explained that Masquerade had existed for nearly 3000 years and were created to protect the kingdoms and towns of Alderaan and its people from those who would bring harm and destruction. The Grandmaster then told him the Warriors of the order were trained in many ways, bincluding magic and wore the masks to keep their identities hidden.

They then entered a small chamber with a Stone Basin filled with a Gold Liquid. The Grandmaster put his hands into the Liquid and took out a White Mask. He went over to Gadrien and gave it to him. When he asked what would happen if he put it on, the Grandmaster replied the Gadrien would be part of the Masquerade order. Gadrien could hear the mask calling out to him. The Grandmaster stated the choice was Gadriens, but once he put the mask on, there was no going back. The Grandmaster told Gadrien that the masks were imbued with Binding Magic. Once he put it on, the Mask would become Gadriens New Face and he would be granted Eternal Life.

To Gadrien, It would be like signing a contract. Thinking back on his life, Gadrien made a look of fearlessness and put the Mask on over his face. In that moment, Gadriens body began to glow and his appearance transformed. Gadrien looked in the mirror to see he was wearing the mask with glowing eyes, along with a set of light-leather armor with black, brown and blue colors and a hood. He saw on the tip of the hood was a unique arrow-head drawing that was the Symbol of Masquerade. The Grandmaster then told him that new initiates were given a new name. From that moment on, Gadrien Edland would be forever known, as Stalker.

Stalker learned his new armor was the official wear of all Masquerade members. It could be un-quipped re-quipped easily. Each Masquerade member also had a set of extra armor stored in a Magical Dimenion to be worn when their current armor needed repairs or washing. Stalker learned that the lower half of his masks could undo so he could eat, but then reform. The Grandmaster then took Stalker to the armory where he would be fashioned with a weapon of his choice. Stalker picked out a Small Steel Dagger and Steel Longsword.

Stalker took a tour of the Monastary after he was shown to his Quarters. He had already seen the Masquerade Monasteries Grand Hall, then saw it had a Dinning Hall, Lounge, Bathhouse, Stables, Training Hall, Library and a Church where they would Pray to the Gods of Sanctity like the rest of Alderaan. There was even a Chamber with Magic Portals that led to every Kingdom in Alderaan and also a request board where Masquerade members would take a job for the gold reward.

The next day, Stalker began his training to be a Masquerade Warrior. There were those of Masquerade who were Swordsman, Archers and Mages. Stalker trained day and night, wanting to prove himself. He advanced more quickly than anyone ever had. Stalker learned the art of Stealth, Running, climbing and jumping, Horseback and swimming. His Mask and Armor gave him Speed, Stamina and allowed him to see in the dark.

After Three years of hard training, Stalker became an elite member of Masquerade and was granted the title ‘Guardian’, which granted him the authority to watch over a kingdom and protect it from Evil. Stalker traveled through a portal and was sent to the Kingdom of Firefly, where every night was brightened by the fireflies that were buzzing around the kingdom.

Stalker took down many thugs and wanted criminals. He also eavesdropped on anyone suspicious and uncovered conspiracy’s against the kingdom and learned about the locations of hidden treasures. Stalker returned to the Monastery from time to time to take regular jobs. Every night, he would climb the Clock Tower in Firefly and stand atop of the structure and look down at the kingdom.

He got use to being Called Stalker and the citizens of Firefly began calling him the Blue Stalker or the Guardian of Firefly. Stalker recalled the night he ran away from home. Knowing if he’d stayed, he would’ve endured a life of misery. Now he’s part of an Ancient Order where he’s living his childhood dreams. He put the name Gadrien Edland behind him and would be called Stalker for the rest of Eternity.
