Do you guys remember Brettworth, my diapered badger boy? I uploaded some sketches of him here a few years back. I finally got around to doing some real art of him. He's supposed to be an American Badger, but his color scheme is still pretty generic. I just couldn't make the American Badger fur pattern work without it being really distracting.
So, Brettworth is a shy badger with abusive parents. His Great Aunt Luna won custody of him so he could be raised properly in a safe and loving home. His shyness combined with bad upbringing had resulted in him being a chronic bed-wetter. The above link describes his first experience with diapers. Shameful, he felt like a baby, defeated.
But in the image above, we see a new Brettworth. By his fourth morning, he found his self confidence. What we're seeing is him looking in the mirror at himself in his bedroom. Last night, he watched one of his and Aunt Luna's favorite movies. It was a 'buddy cop' movie about an aging detective and his sidekick. They were running around the big city, chasing some bad guys when the sidekick said, "My back hurts, I can't run as fast, I'm cranky, and I have no patience for this!"
"Then OWN IT!" Said the main protagonist in a gruff voice, played by none other than the legendary actor, San Derris. "Make your weakness your strength, own it. You're an old fur, a grey muzzle. And you don't take shit from nobody anymore!"
"Own it!" Brettworth bolted up and said aloud.
"Pardon?" asked Great Aunt Luna.
"Nuh, nothing." Brettworth said as he sat back down, already wearing his diaper for the night. In the epic saga of badger versus diaper, he was gonna own it! Make the diaper his strength, not his weakness. He would not be defeated. But he was stuck in diapers until he could go one full week without wetting himself during the night, so a truce was in order.
That next morning, wet diaper and all, Brettworth went to his bedroom mirror, lifted his pajama top and forcefully smiled at himself, "own it." he said. He suddenly saw his diapers in a new light. They had kept him dry the last four nights. No bedding or clothes smelling of urine, just warmth and comfort. In fact, the best sleep in his life had been the last four nights, and he never felt better. He gradually removed his pajama top and posed for himself. It was a self confidence builder. Some of his poses were rather provocative too, a huge feat considering he hadn't become aware of his own sexuality yet. But it felt good to pose this way, showing off himself and his diaper. "Maybe someday, someone else would like to see me like this." he thought, with a slight erection.
Even after he stops wetting himself in the night, who's to say he has to give up the comfort and security of diapers? Reading his biography, it looks to me like Brettworth never had a proper, happy childhood. Perhaps this is his opportunity to reclaim the childhood he was denied.

You're right, he did not have a proper happy childhood. He won't give them up because they'll always be part of that time when his life turned around. You can see in the pic above he's not just posing, he's seeing the diapers as part of his identity. He's seeing himself in the positive for the first time. He's also a young teen, so now that he's in a safe environment all those nice things about being a young male are coming to life. Morning erections, arousal, his first wet dream, etc., are all going to happen while wearing diapers. So yeah, he'll have LOTS of pleasant things associated with them.
