I remember doing something like this when I was little, only my "costume" was an upside-down pink tutu on my head that was covered in shiny hair clips, a green cape from a Martian Halloween costume, and a pair of leather belts criss-crossed over my chest. Looking back on it, I was less "superhero" than "drag queen as designed by a crazy person".
