Continuing from the last page, Boot Hill gets dragged into the darkness behind him by mysterious vines that soon release him to where he starts screaming in terror at everything all around him, while Skull Duggery unleashes diabolical, mocking laughter the deeper and further he falls into the abyss where it almost looks like he is about to enter a vortex leading to Hell. Suppose by the possible theory that Skull Mountain was not only haunted by Skull Duggery, but somewhere deep in the mines, it held a portal to Hell far deeper than anyone can imagine. If that is true, then anyone who entered Skull Mountain was already under the spell and influence of greed and lust for all the silver that Skull Duggery protected, and even if someone did succeed in taking one bag and walked out of there, they'd be haunted and tormented by Duggery's vengeful spirit until they met a grim demise. So anyone that never made it out of Skull Mountain became part of Duggery's bone collection, wherever that is, while their souls can never escape as they are imprisoned below. Now if only the show lasted one more season and it would be cool if they released a five part episode titled "The Curse of Skull Duggery" which would prove that there is more to the legend than anyone thought, and a curse that comes with it.
But this is not the end yet, as Skull Duggery did say he wanted to show Boot Hill the real story which will involve the day he was killed by the cave in, and it will not be a pretty sight to see.
