In the follow up to this image here https://inkbunny.net/s/2281983 where some of you remember where Ashling is carried up into one of the trees by pesky, mischievous sprites who cause trouble for her and her other friends Anna, Tara, and Orla when they enter into a part of the enchanted forest that is the domain and territory of the sprites who are known for creating mischief to trespassers, not caring who they are, royalty or peasants, it matters less to them. What they hate is trespassers, or maybe not hate them, but are extremely untrusting of them after all the times other human invaders caused trouble to their kind and their land. And if they feel threatened or provoked, they will fight back, but with no bloodshed or killing. As for Ashling, being the feisty and headstrong princess she is, has no knowledge to what kind of sprites they are dealing with and tries to swing at them with one of her weapons which the sprites are not exactly pleased with and cause her to drop the weapon. With her friends being too distracted by the rest of the sprites causing trouble and finding ways to chase them off without any harm, none of them see Ashling being carried high off the ground and hanging over a tree branch. Unaware of what they intend to do, Ashling hangs there as she wonders how she's going to get down without getting killed, not even paying attention to the sprites gathering around as they are planning to have "fun" with wanting to teach this naughty girl a lesson about entering their territory uninvited and trying to attack them, which is actually their way of having fun and will laugh as Ashling will be taken by surprise when she can't see several other sprites come back with a long, firm stick and move behind where her bottom is lifted high enough for them to make their move and start their "fun" by giving Ashling a good, old fashioned spanking. And of course, Ashling is taken by surprise that she cries "ow" after every spank, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, that the sprites think this is hilarious and enjoy seeing the reaction she gets from this. However long this lasts, it won't be too long, despite that Ashling's face blushes with embarrassment and by the end, Orla uses a light spell to chase the sprites away and use her floating spell to bring Ashling down safely. After that, the princess will claim that she tripped and fell down backwards really hard before she got carried up into the tree, and will refuse to tell them the truth of what really happened up there, to which her friends do not ask about any further and decide to let it go and get out of the forest to go find the nearest Inn at a village. None of them will even look back and see how Ashling is rubbing her sore bottom. And if she were to have a dream about this as she and her friends sleep at the Inn, it may serve as a lesson not to provoke these types of sprites. While they are not malicious, they are still mischievous enough to get a different point across that would certainly make Ashling not want to go back there or mess with them.

That's why she doesn't ride her horse when they move out of there, and walks beside her using the reigns. And of course Ashling will walk funny all the way from the forest to the nearest town where they'll stay for one night at the Inn.
