No Happiness Here
Sometimes I think that I'm not even that good at trying to draw younger child versions of our favorite Disney and non Disney characters, which is why I try to find help somewhere on Google images, which depends on who I'm talking about. But I do my best, as I did what I could here to try and see if I could do a much younger Boot Hill as a child, who was still called something else by Harmony at the time. I know that I gave Boot Hill gray hair color as a baby, but now I'm thinking his hair color was different when he was younger and it came once he was a year old. As for Harmony, she is not a big fan of dresses and always preferred wearing pants, yet had no choice when it came to attending school or church on Sundays. And she especially hated bonnets on her head which made her feel like an infant. And she wasn't proud to be the only bird of prey civilian allowed in school because of her father's reputation as sheriff, and whatever other reasons that confused her at a young age, or having to put up with the other classmates that were afraid of being poked or stabbed by her sharp beak, making it hard to find other friends that didn't understand why she was allowed on school grounds. Still, as hard and painful as it might have been, Harmony did not let it change anything as she continued to be friends with Boot Hill and secretly tried to teach him what she had learned in school without most of the adults from town knowing, even showing a fiery nature against anyone in school who made fun of her friend for his appearance and not being allowed in school. Their bond grew as the years passed, despite both of them losing their fathers tragically.

So however Boot Hill disappeared that night out in the graveyard where he was working, Harmony vows to find, rescue, and bring him back home, never giving up hope that he is alive out there, waiting for her to come and find him. And to make sure she never forgets the face of her close friend, she takes the photo of when they were children along with other photos saved during the years they grew up in Avian City, and use them for facial identification when she visits ever town and city over the mesa. By the time she does make it to Cow Town and discover where Boot Hill has been along, can there ever be a chance at hoping to fix and repair their broken and lost friendship? I sure hope so. Or else everything Harmony went through will have been all for nothing. And she is still the key to turning Boot Hill around from the life he's been trapped in for so long, having lost some of his memories from years of mistreatment that Harmony is not going to like hearing.

Been listening to this song while drawing and coloring this. The lyrics even remind me of Harmony's friendship is Boot Hill, losing him and later being reunited to fix what has been lost.
