Makhlasim (Makh or Mak'ah'sim to his friends) is a coyote supervillain tax collector of the Dodgbernite royal family. When coming to collect a debt, he will take anything that's not bolted down, especially mothers, daughters, and sisters. If he likes said mother, daughter, or sister well enough, he might pay the family's debt and take the girl for himself! He carries around that big heck-off khopesh, but has never used it against a subject.
Being about 30, he's in the middle of the Tax Collector Trio, Farfarash, Makhlasim, and Khurdalfan.
Their names are very clumsily derived from Arabic. Makhlasim's name was derived from "claw" and "painting"
