This was a very lucky lottery win from a dragon artist I had been admiring for a long while, Wia! Llydia was the obvious choice for the picture and Wia had full artistic freedom to visualize her. Considering we find Llydia in the mountains the first time she will appear late in Taylor Renee's book series, I figured it was good idea to have the backdrop of snowy mountains be where this image takes place. Llydia is intelligent, smart, resourceful and fiercely loyal and defensive of her friends and allies, however, she can be a bit of a ditz and a bit too trusting of others since she does not understand many conventional customs of the peoples that have sprung up in the land since her absence. She has an intense curiosity about everything new and it has a bad side effect of getting her into trouble. A most peculiar dragon that will prove to be a great asset to Taylor and her friends.
Absolutely. By the end, you'll know all the things about each of my ladies. It's just that Llydia is a bit of a late shower in the series, so it'll be some time before we get to her. But I'll be dropping hints along the way as early as book 1 about her.
