[Story Beginning]
My name is Amie-Lee, Amy for short, and we have recently to this area of Pouncefield near the St Lovejoy School. Though I went to St Lovejoys, I often took a school bus as my brothers went to Columbus Academy. We moved because of our parent's divorce, and mom wanted us in a safe and quiet environment away from the old neighborhood. Though I still take the school bus to school, it is very close to the school and on warm days I can walk to school as do many students who live in the area and attend the school would do on such days.
About me, I am 11 going on 12 but am short or small for my age, many confusing me for 10 or so, and having been skipped a couple of grades does not help either. I have two older brothers, Lyle who is 13 and Calvin who is 15. My mother works as a secretary for high level executive in some large company, and must dress in expensive clothing. She usually arrives home at 5:30 in the afternoon. My brothers get home at around 3:30 if they are not in school sporting competition. I usually get home before 3o'clock and am often home alone as most latch key kids are.
We are a family of mice, not exactly white, nor not exactly grey either, but somewhere in between. Our home is a two bedroom house so I have share a room with my brothers though I have my own bed. When I get home I usually get what is left of my homework done before taking a nap or watching some TV before the others get home. I try to do as much of my homework done at school so I won't have much to do when I get home. We do not have any video games systems as my brothers are into sports and play for their school's teams. We do have some laptops which we do our homework on and have access to some things on the interwebs.
Having been in St Lovejoys for several years, my fellow schoolmates are very nice and friendly. Though I am in a higher grade for my age, so are a couple other students. Though many are open into having boyfriends and girlfriends, I am rather shy and not really interested in having a relationship, not yet anyways. I am not into sports like my brothers are, I'm just a average boring mouse girl.
