There was true beauty in these comics and though it's sad to see what could have been I still applaud with all the other kobolds I have been inspired by this comic.

toxicity, hostility and threatnings... not to mention alot of other things. imagine someone wanting to kill you for a imaginary story is quite... scary. specially when hundreds do this at the same time together

I'm gonna be honest. Retroactive justification of something that seems gimmicky or overpowered can be funny but only if used sparingly like a spice for a dish. If it's just a repeating pattern of doing it over and over, the comedic value is lost like the flavor of a dish drowned in spice and instead of a cute gimmick, the repeated retroactive justifications appear to be an antagonization of the reader which only draws more criticism and criticism that is more harsh which may lead to the perception of an influx of 'toxic trolls'.

In this case, the kobold has gone from a cute mini-but-mighty sort to a character perceived as a Mary Sue who can do no wrong because everything they do is justified later and even the lack of flaws is later corrected by adding in irrelevant weaknesses later and the continued pattern of retroactively justifying everything appears to be just be spiteful and further antagonizing the reader even if that's not the artist's actual intent.

I've seen this kinda thing happen before with a few artists in the past and honestly, they're not even aware that they're doing it. Entire storylines get delayed while they instead try to make new pages to justify something that got questioned about in the comments section and it happens again and again, more and more viewers being hemmoraged as both viewer and artist antagonize one another until the artist is left viewed as only a spiteful over-emotional mess supported by a small group of panderers/yes-men who won't give honest reviews.

TLDR: Just write the story you want to write.

I have to disagree with your assessment. I don't think anything presented here pushes the envelope past what was already established in the comic. The scene is set with good comedic timing, follows with character development then unfortunately ends before it can reach a conclusion. I will admit that the rape portion feels a bit meta, but a) I have no way to prove when it was written and b) I can't be salty even if it is a directed at his detractors. The reveal of the mother is nice because it solidifies dragon's backstory, the stick is a gateway into it, the opening reference is clever, and the min maxed hero getting stomped by a hard counter fits well within the self aware rpg setting.

That would have been way better and funnier than the ending that was induced by a bunch of toxic trolls. I just want you to know that I started following yu because of this story, and that I think it would have been great if it had proceeded like that.
If one day you are willing to give it another try, I'll sure be readying it. You are a great artist.
Also, I have to say that I was surprised for hear about the haters, I didn't really read the comments to the story, and I had no idea that you were facing so much anger from some idiots online.
Don't let that get to you.

This is the kind of stuff that would draw me back into the story. It's fun, lighthearted, has cute mama dragons, makes more sense, and is superior to the alternative that was forced onto us under duress to vavacung. Maybe hard to say but vavacung needs to stand behind his work 100% and not be shoehorned into doing work that less then savory people conned him into doing. As an artist you literally can't please everyone, and need to be content with those who have chosen to enjoy your work and its progress, then those who hate/despise it for whatever reason. Be proud of your work and your art vavacung, and don't let outsiders influence you to do otherwise!

I love this idea and I wish you people hadn't hurt you over this. I'm sorry to see that this story will never come to pass.

You know, that little cord on the handle always seemed odd to me, I mean why would a sword have a weapon cord unless Braver's grip was sacrificed too. I never commented on it because I didn't know what to say but it being a punishment stick... yeah that makes sense now.

Sorry for the digression, I wish I could hug you and I'm sorry that your imagination has been damaged, you should never feel scared to fantasize. I wish I could say more without just raging against the people who hurt you but they should feel ashamed for what they caused. I wish you luck and I hope you can still create in the future. I won't beg you to continue this, I don't want to hurt you, I just hope that someday the pain of these events will fade.

Someday you’re gonna have to build a backbone if you want to continue doing comics in a way that won’t be abandoned. This is so much better than the ending we got that felt really weird and subpar compared to how you usually do comics or art sets

It's easy for us to focus on the negative when there's a sea of positivity around it, but having so many all at once go against you, I can see why it would be hard for you. It's easy to hate on someone when you're behind a computer screen, but cowards when faceless and protected by the vail of the internet. Just like it can blossom into something good, it can also create something terrible that can hurt us in both mentality and imagination.

I'm deeply sorry that this has happened to you. I send you my internet hug as I was one that was deeply enjoying the story. I know my words may not hold much wait comparative to the faceless imps that sent you hate and despair, but know that there are people here that are in support of you. Take the time to rest and heal so that the shell that has been created can be withered down until it cracks to let the flowers of inspiration and imagination bloom.

I do like this better than the arc we got in the end. It's more in tone with the beginning.

While the actual comic has a "wow, you actually went there" factor to the end that I appreciated, more of this would have been good. Fuck the haters for taking this away, man.

Don't listen to haters. I understand this was difficult, considering how this comic was an ongoing project for you where you were paying very close attention to feedback. Unfortunately, though, you listened to the wrong feedback. Negative voices will always sound the loudest to an artist but it DOES NOT mean they are the majority! I promise you! Do what you love, and people will love what you do! If they don't, then fuck em! Who needs em! Every media in existence has its haters, but it always has its lovers as well. Hold your friends and fans close and you will be fulfilled.
