Day One
-Sunday 10 am
My mother dropped me off at Northern Star where I stood in line with my friends, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Amy, Shadow, Vector, Espio, and Charmy. A blonde hedgehog was walking along with a Burnett female cat. They seemed to be taking money from all the campers. I had asked my mom for 40 bucks so I could ride the horses each day. I watched as they received money from Charmy, Espio, Vector, Shadow, Silver, Amy, and Tails before standing before me. I looked at the blonde hedgehog and broke into a fear-induced sweat, realizing he looked like a younger version of my step-father; the man that haunts my every thought.
"Please give us your money, we'll make sure it's safe for you in the bank." Terrified of the blonde hedgehog speaking to me, I stood frozen for a second before I quickly turned my money over to the cat, knowing that she was the banker and would keep it out of the wrong hands.
My friends and I went to our cabins and chose out beds. I was glad that Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Shadow, Vector, Espio, Charmy and I were in the same cabin because I knew that they'd keep Mr. Blondie away from me. We ate lunch and participated in the mid-day activities and games. Ironically, Knuckles, Tails, Silver, Shadow, Vector, Espio, Charmy, and Amy were all on the same colored team I was part of! After, we ate dinner and went back to our cabins. I snuggled up in my sleeping bag and said "Goodnight" to everyone in the cabin before going to sleep.
