This is the 1954 Chrysler that was traded in for a 1960 Chrysler 300 that  Al and Marge made mention about in Part 2 of Clarence Coyote and Project Courier.

Donna was born two weeks after the car was purchased...In fact, when Clarence arrived to 1960 on February 9th, he missed out on being there for Donna's 6th birthday party by 7 days.

I like the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda quite a bit.

My parents were always into Fords, Though they did have a 1956 Chevy at that time.  They drove that car from Texas to California and back again.  Usually the GM cars we had broke down too much, but that Chevy was very reliable.  My mom also had a 1960 MGA roadster with a 1600 cc "twin cam" engine.  Unfortunately she had to get professional mechanics fix the engine, and it was too expensive.  So she got rid of it and the Chevy and bought a 1962 Ford Fairlane.  I guess that's about the time my mom was pregnant with me.

My dad liked Ford. A couple of vans he had were Fords. Though he did at one time own two Plymouths and an old Chrysler.
Before we came to the U.S. in 1960, we had a Standard Vanguard station wagon.

They didn't keep one of the old ones as a paddock basher?

Biff, Richie and Gaston would have stolen it for that purpose if given the opportunity.

I love the color also I could definitely see al and marge at a car show sometime in the mid 2000s when my character was younger maybe as an older couple who kept his 300 in good shape for many years

I always did like the cars of the late 1950s and very early 1960s that had the fins.

Even in the country my family lived in until 1960, the the British and European cars there also had fins and a pizazz look in their styling...But they still didn't quite compare to the great American cars of that time era.
