From the very start, I didn't want Date Mouse Misadventures to seem like it was about me being an incel bitter against women in general, I wanted a decent mix of female characters who were good girls, but not compatible with me specifically for various reasons. This includes:
Avril the Opossum (can't enter a relationship in good faith because she's doomed to a painful, untreatable death in the near future)
The pink sheep (we have similar goals but talk past each other, separated by a common language)
And the warrior-princess Badgerine (good, traditional girl, sees the desperation and thirstpost-driven content in my gallery, rightly concludes I would not make a good king).
She's a character that pre-existed the Datemouse comics and that I've used at least once since:
