This is exactly what I was afraid was going to happen last page... It's bad enough that leto is going to have to live with the guilt over what happened to howl and how he turned him away prior to it happening. But now sam knows just what leto was up to during it. If sam decides she doesn't want to be friends with leto after this I wouldn't blame her in the slightest but I hope for leto's sake she forgives him and tries to get him help.
