"Three more characters, what is wrong with you " I habe a problem, what can I say, but these three have been a long time coming and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out
Let's get some introductions out of the way
Jason(Left) - African - Springbok Gazelle, in a carnivorous relationship with Eriq(no not that kind silly), he's level headed and confident, he has goals and the mindset to make them a reality, he is also very kind and understanding
Clyde(Center) - Scottish(only a slight accent) - Clydesdale(Coincidence I promise) - Jason's best friend, they've know each other for nearly their entire lives, He has a bit of an ego, and has the attention of many of the schools female students and faculty, but he doesn't have their attention, his eyes are on one person and one person only
Reggie(Right) - Mexican - Chihuahua - My flamboyant little boy, he is a character I want to do only nice things for, but I havento warn you, his story is full of hardship, being a loud and proud carnivore, and a runt he has his haters, but nothing can break this little guys big ol' spirit - he is very good friends with Eriq and Tiffany and gets along great(if not a bit envious) with Jason

I think I'm just as guilty of too many characters if not more so. My gallery (according to my best count) currently contains 53 distinct original character designs, spanning 9 distinct series. My BTBF series alone has 42 characters, of which only 17 are displayed in my gallery, but to be fair many of the additional characters are fairly minor.

To keep a little perspective, I think it's important to note that a proper story may require a large number of supporting characters, especially true the larger the scope of the story. You can have dozens of characters that only serve for one scene (this is a common phenomena in BTBF as it covers more than a decade of time as the two main characters grow up and meet other characters along the way, to say nothing about additional family members and siblings, which I've tried to keep to a bare minimum, lest things get out of control. I've really only focused on the three most important characters families at all, and those I've kept quite small).

As for characters that are really core to BTBF (where removing any one of them changes the story) there appears to have emerged exactly 8. For characters that persist throughout the story more than a single scene, I'd say 14 at this point.

A decade, wow, can't wait to see that play out Furs runs (after the incident) exactly one year, to the day Blood and gold is roughly 5 years, Kaimera is 20, Rookies a week, and the others are unknown

Yeah, J&J are basically friends from the ages of 4-14 (more or less). That period covers the entirety of the 80s. However we get to see Jonah's short life before Jonathan (late 70s), and what happens after the break up (early 90s), so that's why I say it's more than a decade. They go from being small innocent kids to teenagers trying to navigate the pressures to conform (to varying degrees and in varying ways). It's actually kind of a rather sad story. I came up with it when I was severely depressed.

I wont lie, depression wrote alot of my story too Eliza is basically my physical representation of it, and one of the reasons I haven't gotten any art of her, she's probably the most important character, nit only in Group 1, but the whole series
