Spring was finally here and Caiden and his best buddy Grayson could play outside again without all that poofy winter gear. The rushed out back wearing little more than their diapers, rainboots, and a shirt or bandanna. Despite just getting through the cold weather they somehow still missed the snow and wanted to build a snowman, but with no snow on the ground the boys were disappointed. Thankfully Grayson noticed a patch of dirt and a nearby hose and got an idea. He rushed over to the spigot and let the water flow to the dirt. Caiden caught on to what his friend was doing and jumped with excitement. The two tots grabbed some things from around the yard and formed a mount of mud. They decorated it with some stones for its face, a stick and gardening tool for its arms, a sun hat for it to wear with some flowers for decoration (But not too many!), and Caiden's rainboots for its feet. The boys finished their creation just in time for Caiden's mother to walk outside with snacks to check on them.
"Oh my, what did you boys get into?" asked Cheryl with a half smirk and scold as she set the tray of lemonade and cookies on the porch table.
"Lookit what we made!" presented Grayson proudly as he pointed to the pile of mud.
"Um....It's a mudman, mommy!" answered Caiden a little more cautiously.
"I can see that. I can also see that you used some of my flowers for decoration and made a mess of yourself." observed Cheryl as she crossed her arms and tried not to laugh.
"Uh huh! Isn't he beautiful!?" asked Grayson as he admired the blob.
"*giggles* He sure is, but now I have two messy little boys and a really muddy backyard." said Cheryl with a more serious tone.
"We're sorry mommy..." apologized Caiden.
"Yeah, sowwy missus Cheryl..." echoed Grayson as the tots realized what they have done.
"*Sigh* It's ok boys. Now, let's get you cleaned up." said mama wolf as she moved towards the muddy cubs.
Cheryl took the shirt, bandanna, and boots off of Caiden and and led the diaper clad boys to a paved area of the backyard.
"Now you two stay right here while I toss these in the washer and get some towels." instructed Cheryl as she went inside.
"Yes mommy..." obeyed Caiden as he turned to his best friend, "Aw nuts, now we gotta take a baff..."
"Aw man..." complained Grayson.
Moments later she returned with a couple towels and fresh diapers in hand. She went over to Caiden and Grayson and removed their diapers leaving them naked as a jaybird. She then went over to the hose and brought it back to the pavement.
"Now lets get you boys cleaned up!" announced Cheryl as she revealed the hose and started spraying her boys.
"Agh! Run!" shouted Caiden as he and Grayson ran away from Cheryl and giggling.
Cheryl chased them around the yard with the hose until the mud was rinsed off of them and all was left was two soaked little boys. Mama wolf then scooped each of them up in their towel and brought them to the porch. She put them in a new diaper, wrapped them in their towels again, and sat them at the porch table. Each tot was then handed a sippy cup full of lemonade and a cookie as they enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
