I can’t really blame him for questioning her asexuality when he has had sexuality forced onto him most his life to the point of addiction. I mean he is wrong but I understand he is so deep into his problem he can’t comprehend someone having the opposite problem. (Not to say being asexual is actually a problem or in any way bad)

Yeah it was established earlier in the comic that Leto's social skills are...severely lacking, to the point someone questioned if he's mentally challenged. It could be either genuine mental issues, or him just not really having any real friends for such a long time that he doesn't know how to react or respond to certain situations.
