Featuring the return of Grug! Grug is my favorite minor variant of the NPC template I use in my comics. There are some reasons for this.
1. I've always liked writing characters who speak in broken English
2. He's physically fit
3. Because Neanderthals have bigger brains than normal humans, I can make fun of him being stupid while pointing out his squandered potential because he could put that big brain to better use
But yes, there are literally two options in a sane world. Call yourself a free speech platform (not liable for what is posted on your site, you can't restrict users' messages) or call yourself a publisher (you have veto and editorial power over what is posted, but you're also responsible for everything that's posted).
Almost every media company right now gets away with stealing the beneficial side of both and facing no consequences.
