Once time in a lifetime, life changes forever. Something new and wonderful is brought into the world. The tears, the pain, the struggles. The purpose all comes into focus. Nine months of waiting and anticipating have come to this. A new life, tiny and precious, has begun. On this day, Elyssa and Rorick become parents for the very first time and welcome Alyssa Juniper Kalina Kintana into their lives. Welcome little one.
So the fun thing about writing a story that was initially planned to be only a few years in the future, eventually the dates catch up in real life. When that happens, it means I can actually get commissions done about thier lives in real time! In honor of one of those milestones, I figured I'd commemorate it with a picture of the two proud parents (and a very tired new mom) in the hospital. After a whopping 41 hours of labor (random.org is evil, I swear), Elyssa gives birth to Alyssa at 6:05 PM. If you're catching this freshly uploaded, you just might notice the time on the clock. ;)
