Okay, so they weren't dancing in this scene, but the pose works. A panel from this page that I thought would look good colored. We get a nice idea of what I think Gwendolyn's home looks like. There should be a few more articles of furniture around, but I didn't feel like drawing them. The glow on the ground is from the hearth in the next room.
It does look amazing in color, and at this size, you an see even more cute details, like how their noses are touching and rubbing in such an adorable fashion! And with the color their blushing just adds even more life to their dance^^

I ink the comic in pretty high resolution, so all I have to do is copy the lines of a single panel and make it into a new image. Even this one is shrunken down for easy viewing. It allows for a lot of details.

I'd love to see this animated as well. I've even gone through the whole thing in my head for how it would look and sound. I'd give it a very early 80s look, a blend of The Last Unicorn and Heavy Metal with a similar soundtrack. I'd want it to have a gritty darkness with each of the characters being little beacons of vulnerable goodness. And that's one of my favorite Van Halen songs.

Color! That must have taken a bit of work. I love your simple grey sketches for the overall story, but fancier chapter title pages like this would add something. Chucky holds no surprises with his monochrome coat and undyed flax and leather outfit. I had NO idea Gwendolyn wore a casual-camo outfit, or was an albino lab rat though! The first makes good sense given her reclusive lifestyle, she'll want to stay inconspicuous in her forest without going "full ghillie suit", the second gets me thinking: Might her ancestral origins helping the Precursor race explore the mysteries of biology explain her uncanny magical strength today...? Also noticed her heart decoration, hat band, and ever-present collar share a shade; were the former two deliberately matched to the collar she's apparently worn since childhood to help hide its function (whatever that might be)?
Pose and expression were perfect in the original panel, and shine all the brighter here.

It was certainly a bit of work, but I wanted to show everyone what this world and characters look like in color beyond just their character sheets. Yes, Gwendolyn's choice of outfit is for camouflage in the forest. She has standard black witch's gowns too. I matched the heart and hatband to the collar because I just don't know what other color to use. Creativity with clothes is something I just don't have.

I wish every panel was colored like this... but I know it would be a lot of work. At least for me, coloring takes 90% of the time I spend making my comic. But sometimes I don't update my comic for months. I rather keep reading your story regularly than wait longer for colored versions. Great work with the background too!

Me too, but yes it's way too much work. That's why I've opted to keep the comic as line drawings. I'll throw in the occasional colored panel like this when I have extra time.
