I never gave the species a name, but it's supposed to be an other dimensional symbiote that attaches to an item in order to exist in other dimensions in D-lee's case a mask pictured here
Instead of being like physically inside of someone their item links to someone and uses that person as an anchor to that world. The entity has their own body and can cover their host like venom, but they can't become a liquid or split apart and reform. They can however mold their personal bodies to form longer/bigger/smaller appendages and slightly alter the host body like give them slightly enhanced sences, durability athletsicm an extra limb or enlarging one (to an extent). The host can summon the item and the entity at anytime and they can choose to communicate telepathically to the entity but it is up to the host not he entity. If the item is broken it can reform after a set time but the connection is immediately broken and the entity will disappear, then any one can be the the new host/anchor. His species excel at enchanting/altering things and people and tend to want to observe how other species react to their meddling. Most find mates outside of their species and can mate with most creatures
Warning this explanation is going to be long Instead of being like physically inside of someone th
Yeah reading it back does sound very much like Venom I could probably draw it better than describe it, though to be honest most of the details are just excuses to draw lewd ideas with light explanations as to why

For now I still wanna retool this idea a bit as I like characters that work as guardians/partners to other's, in a similar vein as Senketsu, zatch bell or a sorta sentient stand from jojo, but I'll consider it. Thanks for the the idea session my dude
