Why do I have to think about the game for the Gameboy color, dragon quest monsters? You can let your monsters mating for a "new" monster, and this is like your Pic. I love that game.

That's quite the compliment since that's exactly the mechanic I'm going for. Always liked it, the whole "families" thing, and the monster mixing. I'm gonna use the inherit-skills concept too~ and probably the spells that come from having specific ones~

for the Demon with a plant added. could go with something referensing "cordyceps" a fungas that effectivly brain controlls its host to help spread itself. (ya know..like a zombie)
so ya know...a deamon that basically creates undeads using corrupted plants. (im leaning heavy into cordyceps because the icon is a skull with plants growing out of it)

I -was- thinking on cordyceps for when I make a fungi enemy, so the name itself is a good idea~! But given I make a big distinction between plant and fungi, couldn't use it for this one~

All plants produce a sticky stuff called Mucilage, so for the plant slime, perhaps you could play around with that word. Maybe it's called Muse's Law, or you could go the other way and just call it a flytrap, or even a mantrap if it hunts bigger prey.
Demon plant is obviously a Briarthorn, and the slime demon could be something like Winged Slime, Batslime, maybe it's not called anything with slime at all, maybe it's called Tar or a Liquid Brimstone

Afaik, Briarthorn is a WoW-specific term, so... no, don't think I wanna be that straightforward stealing a name XD Mucilage is a good root to think about! And I'm not thinking if I should call the main slime "Slimeling" and have all that family be something-ling... tarling for the slimedemon maybe? XD

Oh is it? Haha I had no idea, I thought that was what the brambles surrounding sleeping beauty was surrounded by in the folk tale, but yeah in that case don't go for briarthorn xD
I think tarling could work! I just think it's interesting if like, a slimes are called slimes because they're made of slime, but an evil slime might not be made out of slime, so it should be called what it's made out of :P

Could go with Bramble than Briar thorn. It's a thorny stalk or vine describing blackberry, raspberry and dewberry bushes and 'rambling roses' as they can be a thorny bush.
