Complete submission =/= sadism, it runs more along the lines of obedience. I have to say that in the comments because some of the future pages will make it seem like I'm against BDSM. You can have complete submission with no negativity. A good dom knows to keep it in private. Extending to restricting social connections makes it less private and thus is a sign of a person who doesn't know how to or refuses to keep fantasy separate from reality.

Not as the dog that is beat but the puppy that is held and snuggled and lavished with affection but also told to obey for treats and more snuggles.
