Character Description
Kyle the Doughshi is... well, me! I created this version of me on May 20, 2011, and then drew it a day later. I was reminded of this after finding the original, but I wasn't going to make an avatar for myself. However, after getting into roleplays and being turned into one from a friend, I got an idea and ultimately drew it out.
Since 2011, nothing much has changed for my Yoshi, the only things that have changed were what he wears, and a couple of colors.
Personality
"Doughshi" is usually very open about his personality, not wishing to describe himself or the way he is but let others around him do that instead, and make a proper evaluation of him as a person.
Though, if any had to be made, Doughshi is kind, cheerful, easily entertained, supportive, and happy, making sure people around him are having a good time. However, Doughshi suffers from ADHD and can easily become absent-minded and lose focus, as well as not thinking before speaking or acting. He also tries to be oblivious about his interest into being squished into different shapes and forms, but is usually bad at hiding it.
Doughshi is very open about his thoughts, as well as listening to others, even at the risk of drifting off. He doesn't judge others for their interests, even if they don't line up with his.

Doughshi lives with multiple friends, the closest being Cinnamon, Simon, and Arrin. Together, they help to take care of a couple of children under his supervision: runaway twins Junior and Rainbow, illegal genetic experiment Oink-Oink, and Dot, solo Destroyer of Ecruteak Gym.
World/Setting
Doughshi currently lives in the Silver Tower, home of the Royal Family of Aunov, as an honorary resident.
The Silver Tower is a 30-story high tower developed and built by the King of Aunov, on the southern side of Light City, the nation's capital. North faces the hills and mountains, while south goes to smaller Light Town and its coastline to the sea.
Aunov is one of multiple countries on the planetoid Ioa, which (currently) revolves around the Mushroom Planet, home to the legendary Super Mario. Aunov is Ioa's most populous nation, but not its largest.
Ioa is a magic-based planetoid that takes most of its make-up and properties from the Mushroom Planet, formed and created years ago by the King's great-grandmother.
Body
"Cookie" is a peach Yoshi, frequently considered rare for a Yoshi to be a single color, yet on Ioa it is extremely common. His eyes and hair are brown, the latter is slightly darker than the former. He has three head scales on the back of his head, the top and bottom are light brown while the middle one is a rainbow.
The Rainbow Scale, while lacking in background, is a magical part of the body that "saves" forms that come in contact with it. This allows Cookie to transform into those forms at will and back again, while also gaining some of the powers of the original, if applicable. Currently, he can turn into a Dragonite, Raichu, Eevee, Koopa, K'enehk, cow, pig, and otter. Whatever form he "saves" and becomes, there is always a rainbow present somewhere on his body.
He is also known to many Ioans as a Softie, a term used to describe a being who's body displays malleable properties. As such, Cookie's body can be kneaded, shaped, flattened, and inflated among others. Being a Softie introduces a new set of perks when it comes to danger, but also weaknesses too. For example, being crushed doesn't harm the Yoshi, but it means he's now flat and may require assistance moving.
A Softie's body is naturally very clean and that comes from the absence of standard body parts and the place of artificial ones that act on their behalf. In other words, a Softie doesn't have bones or internal organs, the body just acts like it does. Their bodies also mimic a different malleable material in looks and texture and gives off a special scent depending on the person. For Yoshi, he mimics vanilla and cookie dough, while the hair and head scales mimic chocolate.
This also means he is susceptive to having parts of his body detached, which includes the Rainbow Scale; having that removed, regardless of form, prevents Cookie from switching forms until it's put back on.
Clothing
Cookie is usually pretty minimal when it comes to something that he wears, as it usually goes with Yoshis. Regularly, he is seen wearing a pair of circular frameless glasses held together with a red nosepiece. He wears a red collar around his neck with a circular silver tag. Although it's on his right wrist in this reference, Cookie will wear a smartwatch on his left wrist, as he's right-handpawed. Finally, his common appearance has red arched Yoshi boots with white socks and soles.
Alternatively, his eyewear may be switched out with a specialized high-tech visor made from his friend Mac, known as LightSIGHT. The collar is considered a middle body item and can be swapped out with a colorful neckerchief, a hooded jacket, or a backpack. Only one of these items are present at a time. Additionally, any outfit he wears has an emblem present at all times: the silver version of the Emblem of the Aunov Royal Family. This allows access in and out of the Silver Tower and associates Cookie's ties to the Royal Family. Taking this from him is considered a crime.
Accessories
Cookie, growing up, was part of the Scouting program, and tries to follow the idea of being prepared as much as possible.
He always has a smartphone on him, which can also be used to open the main door of the Tower, authenticated through its biometric scanners. Outside of common items, Cookie usually carries an external battery and cables in his backpack in case of charging, a first aid kit, water, snacks, etc. In case you need something, this Yoshi is likely to have it!
