The list of problems I have with the Karen in Chief sitting on her porcelain throne in Lansing, issuing a constant stream of unconstitutional executive odors, is rather extensive. As I live here, her murderous treatment of old folks impacts me more than Mayor Cuomo doing the same thing during the pandemic (targeting literally the only people seriously vulnerable by forcing retirement homes, which are not hospitals, to take in young and even violent people infected with the virus and house them near the vulnerable elderly).
Her lockdown order came out just in time to ruin Easter and ran all the way through Halloween. She lightened it once slightly in the summer because she wanted to throw a party on a boat; the boat storage company wouldn't let her cut in line and due to her lockdown order, there was a two week backlog (BTW taking a boat onto the lake is about the least vulnerable type of gathering when dealing with the Chinese virus). When she wasn't allowed to cut in line, she just tightened the lockdown again.
After the state legislators proved to the Michigan Supreme Court that she only had the authority to issue the initial 15 day lockdown, not to extend it, people in Michigan rejoiced and started patronizing their favorite restaurants again. It looked like we had hope
Then just in time to ruin Thanksgiving (and several orders of magnitude less importantly, my birthday) she issued another executive order. This one for "three weeks", which A) was already shown to be unconstitutional and B) should have officially ended already, but is still going on despite it almost being Christmas.
She might be less evil than Cuomo and Newsome, but Mussolini was less evil than Mao Zedong and Josef Stalin. Evil is evil, tyrants are tyrants.
No more mask for me. I've reached the breaking point where I can no longer be polite to people about this.
