Chapter 17: The Fall of Adam the Forsaken?
Dateline: January 1, 2001 C.E.
The fight resumed and Neko Cast Fire 2 on Adam the Forsaken which activated a barrier change effect. The barrier change effect caused only that element he cast and physical blows to hurt him. Anything else would heal him. Adam summoned some caster undead that breathed fire out their mouths and burned Neko badly. Neko cast Ice 2 on Adam activating his barrier change once again. Adam was hit hard by Ice boulders. Adam took a Barrage of Machine gun bullet from the scorpion tanks but was protected from instant death because he had a ghost shield up as a passive effect. Despite this he took massive damage.
Adam Thought to himself "There is only one way to win I must lead them into my castle but knowing them they would just destroy it from the outside I need to find a place where I am more powerful... it is a gamble but the hospital is a place of note as many died in it before it was rebuilt perhaps I can keep them on their toes dodging the tortured souls. They would never suspect the hospital to be a trap." He opened a death gate to the Covina Hospital where he had originally burned it down in The "Adam the Forsaken Returns Creepy Pasta" and Chapter 10 of "Adam The Forsaken Tales of Extraordinary Beings Book 1."
The others followed in haste. The audience was outside the hospital and able to see all the action inside while under the protection of the portable Stadium bleacher set Neko dropped for them earlier. Adam ran inside the hospital where there were indeed tortured souls from that fateful day.
Sally screamed "Dear g-d what happened to those... things?"
Adam while possessed by the Spirit of the Necromancer said "I exterminated them to snuff out any witnesses to my earlier actions on that fateful day which was weeks ago as it happened in this timeline."
Tails replied "So you mean to tell me we are back in the Year 2001 C.E. in your world?"
Adam said "precisely."
Authors Note: I know a lot of you reading this are lost so I will simply say the record of time in this entire series has been by Adam the Forsakens timeline which takes place from the 1990s to the tail end of the New Millennium Year. As a result the year for Sonic and friends may not be the exact same one it is for Adam the Forsaken and friends. For the sake of simplicity we will assume that it was a year after the series ended for each of the respective series in their respective lands. Now back to the plot.
The tortured spirits came right for Adam holding Knives, scissors, scalpels, and other torture devices. Adam said "How fun! I would love to stick around but I have places to be good luck!" Adam opened a death gate and tried to escape but was held down by one of the ghosts. It was the Ghost of Nicky his next door neighbor who he had killed in "Adam the Forsaken Tales of Extraordinary Beings Book 1" in this hospital. He came in missing his toes and was holding a scalpel and some needles to pin Adam to a wall.
Nicky said "I will have you know I really do like Nursery Rhymes thank you for teaching this one to me before I died!" Adam had his toes cut off one by one to that age old nursery rhyme that Adam said in "Chapter 13 of Adam The Forsaken in the Sonic Universe" as he cut off Emperor Destroyas toes and Nickys in "Adam The Forsaken Tales Of Extraordinary Beings Book 1." Just as Nicky was about to cut Adam open to remove his liver, Neko cast Lightning 2 on Adam which also hit the ghosts of the ones he had killed causing them to turn their attention to Neko instead. This means Nicky was also hit with it and turned his attention on Neko with the others. Neko said "Oh $#%+! Are you ready with that damned spell yet Isaac? Adam was moaning in agony.
Antoine said "These ghosts they vill cut me open in painful ways I did not vant to die like zis!" Sonic hooked both Miles Tails Prower and Classic Tails up to an IV Machine with the help of some ghosts of the hospital staff including doctors and Nurses who died that fateful day that the rest of the ghosts in this place did.
Isaac Shouted "Finally! Spirit of the Ultimate Necromancer your name I beckon, Astriedax Hallejah! Your days of possessing weak children to wreak havoc on our world ends today! Answer in the name of Adonai for your wicked ways and be gone to the afterlife never to corrupt another soul again! A huge area of effect spell spanning 1000 yards began exorcising the Spirit of the Necromancer which Adam The Forsaken threw up and fainted. He fainted from a combination of blood loss, overwhelming pain from the earlier attacks and the energy needed to cough up that unholy monstrosity. The children who Adam Killed including Nicky were exorcised to the heavens instantly by the consecration circle.
Astriedax Hallejah yelled "Meddlesome Kabbalist you dare try to exorcise me?"
Isaac said "You cannot escape the consecration circle."
Astriedax Hallejah asked "you do realize that if you finish me off, you die of Tay Sachs disease right?"
Isaac nodded and replied "A small price to pay to ensure you no longer corrupt the tormented."
Astriedax tackled Isaac sucking on his soul essence. "Get off me!" Isaac demanded. Neko knocked Astriedax off Isaac with his scythe. Astriedax was getting weaker but would not die without a real fight. Astriedax in desperation Blasted Neko with a hate blast easily more powerful than the ones Adam was able to fire.
Neko fell back on the ground weakly and shouted "Everyone attack that Dybbuk! Before he kills us all we will not get another chance at this it is more powerful even than Adam so we need everyone to attack it!" The entire audience armed with guns and other weapons specially imbued with Holy power to be used on anything undead or demonic in nature ran out of their bleacher seats and stormed the hospital opening fire on it as did the Scorpion tanks. Even Robotnik and Eggman and their Badniks helped to kill Astriedax with their machines. Both versions of tails fired their weapons at it as well from their hospital beds and the others focused their attack on the creature instead.
Adam The Forsaken was now beat to a bloodier pulp than he had ever been and broken nearly every bone in his body not to mention the toes were cut off. Isaac continued the incantation the ghosts of kit kit and kit kat held the dybbuk in place until it finally died and rose to the heavens. By this point the sun was setting and the tournament that started at 11 am lasted until 5pm. Every Fighter was exhausted and the audience members too. They were hauled off to a hospital far away from there as no one worked in Covina Hospital anymore and the best anyone could do without trained doctors was keep patients stable.
The audience members suffered minor if any injures in the fight while the tournament fighters were the most battered any of them had ever been. Isaac was in the worst condition of all as he was rapidly succumbing to Tay Sachs disease which is caused by a lack of a vital Enzyme in the brain and causes one to lose all their senses before they painfully die. Furthermore few live longer than 5 years. Because Isaac was born on New Years Day his number was up. Vanilla was crying over him at the moment with Adam the Forsakens Babies who had not been named yet.
Isaac said in a weak voice "Please if you must shed tears may they not be for me but for your fellow living beings who suffer needless hardships on the streets or the abused and those in need of spiritual healing. After all this time I have gotten my reward for fighting the good fight. I will at last be reunited with my Mom and Dad in heaven. Kit Kit and Kit Kat were already given that blessing earlier today. Perhaps someday Neko will get the same. Goodbye my friends and take care of Adam if he survives that is."
Isaac was quickly taken away to be prepared for a Jewish Funeral Service. His soul rose to the heavens. Vanilla decided to speak on behalf of both Isaac and Kit Kit and Kit Kat at their respective funerals. At Kit Kit and Kit Kats Funeral which was a bit unconventional as there were not even bones left to mourn over but instead a picture of them and their parents. Vanilla said "I did not know Kit Kit and Kit Kat very long... none of us did but, despite not having a mom or dad present early on they were by any definition survivors. They were the first to try to take on Adam The Forsaken while he was possessed by the spirit of the necromancer. While they fought valiantly despite it being just the two of them they were disgraced in front of millions of eyes throughout the lands. All we can do is hope that wherever they are now they have found peace and reunited with the loved ones that left them too soon through no fault of their own." The crowd of people observed a moment of silence and put many flowers on the memorial site. A few of them murmured stuff along the lines of "They left the world too soon..." and "They were so innocent..."
The next day, Isaacs Funeral commenced with Vanilla speaking for the Funeral her kind words. Vanilla was not allowed to look at Isaac which threw her off a bit and she asked any questions she and the others might have to relay to Blaze who was too worried about Adam to show up.
Vanilla said "Isaac was a brave child a year younger even than Kit Kit and Kit Kat until today. How cruel it was for him not only to have been born on New Years Day but, to have to fight off the greatest evil we have ever seen. He did not even get to celebrate his birthday or the victory afterwards." Vanilla tried her best to hold it together but tears welled up in her eyes and she could hardly speak audibly. "He lost his parents when he was three so he did not remember them and worse still he never remembered a single birthday party if he had any back in Israel. He too was a survivor and a miracle of nature. But his was probably the most tragic life and death of all." She finished.
The other attendees were lost for words and there was not a soul who did not cry for him at the funeral. After the funeral Blaze was still with Adam in the Emergency Room and Adam was in critical condition. Neko was not in much better status considering he had a Bazooka round hit him and a Hate Beam from the Spirit of the Necromancer itself earlier even if he had some armor on to prevent it from leaving a hole in his body. Both versions of Tails were also gravely injured but would make a full recovery in a few weeks. Classic Sonic was with Classic Tails and Cream was with Miles Tails Prower. Cream was crying over Miles Tails Prower with their newborn Kibitz.
Blaze sobbed "Adam! Wake up please!"
Adam came to and weakly said "Blaze... I do not know if I am going to make it... without my powers I am pretty much useless not to mention I am lucky I can even speak properly given the extent of my body?s damage. But, before I go I should name our children all 8 of them the names I want are Adam Noah Abel and Alexander for the boys and Eve Naomie Natalie and Esther for the girls unless you want them to have other names.
Blaze shook her head and said "No if it be your dying wish they be called that I will make it so my love."
Adam said weakly "Thank you." Adam lost consciousness. Silver was also in the hospital from the fight and having the cars he threw at Adam crush him not to mention taking a few rounds of bullets from Adams gun-scythe. But his injuries were much less serious so he would survive for sure.
Ultimately it would take a miracle for Adam and Neko to survive this one as they were hit hardest the entire battle. Will Neko and Adam survive their injuries and have a happy ending?
