Unlike police and fire fighters...or even to some extent, legislators and executives, government funded educators only subtract from the value of society and attempt to impose proven-failed economic plans through indoctrination of the young and counter-factual "science"
They fail to teach kids the actual important things in life: How to balance a checkbook, the value of having a good work ethic, being honorable so as to deserve the trust of others, and literacy (no joke, only 75% of high school graduates in the USA are fully literate; compare this with the late 1800s where the literacy rate among adults was 99% because parents thought it was important for their kids to learn to read the Bible for themselves).
