Well, that destroyed my pity party! XD

Anyway, I did place a micron of effort into this scribble of Porkchop as QuailDog. ^^

Porkchop was the pet of Doug Funnie, the titular character of Nickeloden's 'Doug' Nicktoon. Both Doug and Porkchop had (imaginary) superhero alter egos: QuailMan and QuailDog (guess which was which).
Both herosonas were based on Doug's comic strip. ^^

Please take this first part as friendly advice and not as the rant/cringe it's gonna read as I am often very blunt and it gets me trouble. It's the reason why I don't leave comments much "^^;"

What you have written in the description is I question I have seen posted on various platforms time and time again.
Question: Why do I keep making good/great art and post it if nobody comments, likes, favs or whatever?

My answer: Because you love making and sharing what you do and if you are only doing it for others's reactions, then maybe you should take a break and re-think why you got into art and sharing it in the first place. So my question to you is: Who are you doing this for, yourself or others?

Hypothetical You: Alright Miss Smartiepants, I've been to your profile, I've posted shoutouts. Do you even read them?( Yes, yes I do and I Appreciate them<3) I've seen your "art". So I ask the same question to you.

My answer: Simple, Myself. I'm not a great artist like yourself and others on here and other platforms, so I can't depend on views, likes. favs, comments, ect to keep me going. Anything I do, I do it for me and if it gets a like, that's great! If not that's fine too.

In one of your pictures awhile back in the description it read to me like you were getting tired of drawing in general. Perhaps it's time for a break. In the picture before this one or the one before it you mentioned someone commented to you about commissions and you turned them down. If you want more fame that's one way to go. The other is branching out to other platforms like Deviant Art, Tumblr, Furaffinity Twitter, ect. I don't know if you have or you may have mention them and I don't remember.

Second part: I know I don't comment much but I love the care and research you put into each and every drawing that you do. I wish more artists did that but I understand why they don't. Also Doug had a comic? Huh, neat. You learn something new every day.

Boy did you misunderstand this! XD

My complaint wasn't that I made good art and no one fave'd, but that I intentionally made BAD art and it GOT faves!

So my question is why should I bother to make acceptable art, when a scrawl on a napkin will get the same (if not greater) views/faves?

...Yes. Doug would often draw his own comics, one of which was QuailMan. :3
