... huh, turns out I was actually thinking of "Hold the Heathen Hammer High"... maybe a sign of digging too deep into my collection of minis... because I unearthed my traitorous chaos space marines as well... and now I am torn between what army to build... HERESY!?

This is not how I expected my day to go. But I am pleased. Mostly. Aside from spending too long just digging through my bits box instead of assembling or painting anything. Analysis paralysis strikes again! At least I feel good about the colour scheme I settled on... I think... maybe...

Now I sketched this on a whim, with the intention of using it to help me come up with a chapter name, symbol and maybe one day freehand a banner or two... because combined with wanting to incorporate those checkerboard patterns, I must be a masochist at this point. lol

Work is still exhausting, and it isn't even Doom-cember yet! Argh! But somehow... for some reason... the grim darkness of the forty-first millennium brings satisfaction...
