HAPPY MAD YEAR 2020!
Among Halloween 2021
HAPPY MAD YEAR 2020!
Rivet "cheeks from McDuck"
So, today is a purely American holiday Halloween, which is nevertheless known around the world. Because US mass culture is the most powerful in the world (I'm serious right now, without sarcasm)

And as always, I made a thematic drawing. I spent some time thinking about which cartoon and characters to take. And how to link it to the "scary theme". Well, and maybe a little more with current actual events. And as a result, I came up with THIS.

There is a Danish cartoon "Giant pear", based on the children's book "the Incredible story of a giant pear".
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7006206/

I accidentally saw this cartoon while watching TV at home, at 6 am on a children's cable channel in April of this year. I won't call this cartoon a good one. It's more of a weird, dumb, cringe thing. While watching it, I had the feeling that I was watching it in a drunken state, so what was happening on the screen was so ridiculous.

I remember two particularly clumsy things:
1) the character-a boy cat Mitch speaks clearly in a female voice, has girlish eyebrows, soft furry body.... I thought it was a sin of Russian dubbing. BUT! In the Danish original, and in the English dub, Mitcho also speaks in a girly voice.
2) During their" incredibly exciting " (no) adventure, the elephant, cat, and old man stumble upon several half-wits. The first were a band of pirates who looked like second-rate cereal mascots. The OTHER was a reclusive inventor who lived in a huge mechanical sea monster. It is not clear why he went to live in seclusion at the bottom of the sea, why he spent so much time alone, and finally, WHY HE JUST did not RETURN BACK to HUMAN SOCIETY?! And this suspicious subject literally "swallowed" sea travelers into his lair by force and tried to keep them, because he "wanted friends". This creepy bearded man looked like a pervert maniac.

So I decided to combine these two observations because they fit perfectly with the "scary theme" of Halloween. Sick maniac-there is (a mad recluse with a pedophile's beard) Potential victims - there is! (two underage morons, and one is clearly a female)
Plus, I added to the "horror" and an explanation of why this inventor in his mechanical monster hid at the bottom of the ocean. Because only there could he escape from the global pandemic of the mutated Coronavirus =D

Happy Halloween 2020!

з.ы. I remember the rules of site, so there's a version WITHOUT human beans. Version WITH homo cartoonios on the link.

oh is this cat a  boy?  With a rainbow and pink shirt xD? Well if a boy wear pink clothes is not for being gays. at first the color pink was a only for men until barbie came and stole the pink.
well I understand the voice for being a   kid, For example, i show you  the voice in Spanish latink and Spanish Castilian of Phineas and Ferb.  in Spanish Spain Phineas  voice is extremely pitched like a girl.  using as an excuse that the voice is made by a woman even though that does not mean anything. Spain: https://youtu.be/uXR01WSuIaE
Latino:https://youtu.be/beta1H0UCjg (for me is the best spanish xD

Yes, the Latino version is undoubtedly better. But even in the first Spanish version, Phineas didn't sound as girly as cat Mitcho in the Russian and English dubbing.
In General, girls and women often voice the characters of boys and teenage boys. Because most of the real kids are really bad dubbing actors. And often girls are good at imitating a boy's voice.
Also fun fact: in the Russian Nickelodeon version, the same girl voices the main character Lincoln in " Loud house "and Ronnie Anne's friend Sid Chang in "Casagrandes".

What's funny is that her voice fits both characters equally... Well, I think so. Because Lincoln is such a weak-willed slug and henpecked that a high-pitched "female voice" fits perfectly with his " female character." And Sid Chang... Well, she's a girl, and the voice is female, so it's a direct hit..

ronnie doesn't have an accent?  I know that in the Latino dubbing all characters are "neutral" due to idioms problems in the Spanish language.  there are words that even in a place have different meanings.  for example the simple word "gata" (female cat).  a
To a Spain:  it is a female cat. But  for an Argentine: "if you call a girl a cat it is a compliment, it means beautiful and young" But to a Mexican:" it is a bulagr way of calling the cleaning slave"
But the true nobody seems to bother this confusion.  since listening to accents in that Spanish is very funny.
A great example of idioms is in adventure time, the voice of the dog Jake makes him a Mexican BUT when he took over the character making him talk like an authentic Mexican hahaha and that's why many people (besides Mexicans) loved the show more, using  phrases and references to Mexican or Latin culture.  Latina that did not last long as they forced the voice actor to neutralhttps://youtu.be/4LSFKHzNtUYize Jake so as not to "oppress the other Latinos"
O.o Even on uncle grandpa, pizza Steve was very loved because he was the last to have a funny Mexican accent (instead of Italian lol) https://youtu.be/wRiD0K1lNHc

WEll Russian version of Ronnie doesn't have any accent, because there are usually only a few stereotypical accents in the Russian dubbing. For example, the" English/American " accent, when the character speaks SOFTLY, swallowing the endings of words, nasal and not making a strong emphasis on consonants. Because Russian sounds quite "tough" compared to English. Not as solid as German, but still.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88YNYqkqgl4

Also in the Russian dubbing do a "Caucasian accent". "Caucasian" in Russian does not mean "white man", it means  the most inhabitants of the Caucasus Mountains. Caucasians for Russian is like "our Mexicans". In contrast to the stereotypical "nasal English", the stereotypical Caucasian accent is intentionally "rough". So the character of the Mexican Karl from the ATF in the Russian dubbing became a GEORGIAN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yRYBrY3oUo

In the Russian dubbing, there is also a stereotypical German accent, which includes a "barking pronunciation". However, as does the English stereotypical "German accent".
Russian dubbing also have the stereotypical " Central Asian accent.". It`s like "Oh these stupid Central Asians who don't know how to speak Russian properly and therefore speak broken Russian with a lot of grammatical and stylistic errors". This stereotypical emphasis also applies to the Chinese.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrJOfYuae8g

And of course, you can't forget about the stereotypical "GAY ACCENT" in Russian dubbing, when the character speaks mannered and "sassy".

There is also an "Estonian accent" - this is when the character speaks in a SLOW and unemotional way. The same speaking emphasis is applied for characters of the Northern part of Europe, such as Norwegians or Finns..

In General, these are the main stereotypical accents that Russian dubbing uses.
Under this system, Ronnie Ann might have spoken with a "Caucasian accent," but gruff voice would have not suited her. That's why she and her family don't have an accent in the Russian version at all.
