I really hope you are still liking the story until this point. I'm so grateful for all the love it has been receiving. As you know, I've been only working exclusively on this project during this month (except for the picture I'll upload today as well). I'm guessing the king staged his outrage, siccing the guards, and the chase in order to test the strength of the love formed between the two princes. But that doesn't seem like something he could have pulled off at the spur of the moment, so something tells me he had an idea this was going to happen ahead of time. I'm eager to see the conclusion.
EDIT: Either that, or he's just happy that his son found true love. It just seems like a really drastic change of tone from the previous page to this if there wasn't any kind of advanced knowledge of this possibly happening. Unless there's more to the scene that didn't get shown. *shrug*
