To the casual observer, it might not appear that druids, with their control over and love of nature, and necromancers, with their control over the dead, are anything alike. To those who know, however, the two are inextricably linked. Both deal with life magic, though the path towards mastery has resulted in different practical uses. Zinnia has been a druid most of her life. Orphaned as a young girl, she was taken in by a druid coven and raised in their ways. Steeped in their teachings, she grew to be a druid to be reckoned with. As an adult, she went to forge her own path and observe the wider world. With each year, she learned more about things she'd never even dreamed of... things her mentors might even deam heretical. Now having strayed from the tenants she was raised from, she walks a dangerous and narrow path. The necromantic teachings she's learned have augmented and improved her potential, but they also demand sacrifice and action. She has shed her obligations to peace and passiveness and now embraces the road to change, though at what cost?
So here's a character my followers here probably won't be familiar with: Zinnia Druid. I've had her for some time, six years to be exact, but the world she's a part of has been neglected for a fair while. As a matter of fact, this is the first piece of her I think I've gotten of her. I can thank luanas-artbook for reviving her. Plan on seeing more of her in the future.
