Far above Earth's place on the inverse-entropy scale, there is a universe where the different effects of the laws of physics results in most stellar objects developing tiny to gargantuan crystal formations.
Creatures that evolved here usually have an integral -physical and spiritual- connection to these crystals, whose properties and usefulness can range from basic shapeable construction material to life-supplying nutrition, and various energy emitting ones.
Sentient species of these spaces are able to harmonize with these materials to enhance their knowledge and thought processes in various ways, one of the preferred places for this is this crystal sanctum, where individuals and groups visit for meditation or group ceremonies, utilizing the constantly renewing pool of rare -and to outsiders mysterious- solid but ever-changing substance.
Even the walls and the ground itself can be part of the source of meditative and transformative energies, for those who are advanced enough of the understanding of the realm of the crystals.
This individual just opened the gates to the area, wondering what kind of visitors arrived at this sacred but not restricted place.
