Imagine that Amy was used to her full potential from the start. She could've easily been as one of Sonic's partners... if she was actually taken seriously...

Here is another drawing featuring Sonic performing Tag Moves with a partner. Maybe I should update Amy's appearance later to reflect her partnership with Sonic...
Sonic carries Amy while running.
Amy can knock Sonic into the air with her hammer. And while they perform this move in midair, Sonic is in ball form.
When performing the "Fastball", Sonic Spin Dashes and Amy knocks him away with her hammer like they're playing croquet. And each time Sonic rebounds from hitting the opponent, Amy knocks him back into the opponent. In the Archie Comics, it was called the "Croquet Special." And in the IDW Comics, it's called the "Croquette Bomber."
And lastly, Amy has her own version of Sonic's "Spin Dash" and "Super Peel Out" called the "Amy Dash".
You may recognize most of these moves from the Sonic Advance trilogy and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.
Edit: Classic Amy now wears a purple version of Sonic's shoes.
