Sooooo this was a very ambitious picture and frankly, I totally lost the will to finish it. It got stalled for too long and the original vision not only faded in my head, but so did my drive to do all the lighting tricks I had planned.

I believe I started this before Covid, which would make sense. This year (2020) has been so garbage that this is just one more casualty to the stress.

The forest version is the abandoned one. The colorful cave is the simple quick and dirty one so that there's be at least ONE finished variant. It's pretty at least, I think? I dunno, at this point I will NEVER be happy with it no matter what I do.

Regardless, I liked the drawing itself too much to just give up on it entirely. Maybe I'll return to it someday.

You do a beautiful job depicting emotions. I'm really impressed, and really love the shading and composition of this piece. I hope you can get back to it some day, and get it to a state where you can be more happy with it, because you should be proud of what you've done as it is.

That means a lot. Your comment inspired me to do a "flat" version with a re-drawn forest environment. :) It's in the works as of this reply.

Awww I wish I knew what to say about this piece other then its really well drawn and the colours awesome, especially her expression that really gets me in my heart. It sucks though that the situation we are in didn't help with motivation and all but hopefully things will improve in time and all. Nice work and keep it up n_n
