Troy is still riding high on the defeat of Chris and dares to suggest that Ian could do it to Mario too. Obviously, Ian isn't too keen on the idea. He's got no delusions that he'd be able to stand up to the ego maniac that is his high-powered, rock muscled, soft-bellied older brother. Look at Mario. He can't help but watch himself shine while staring at a mirror, waiting for his show to come on. That Trix commercial could only do so much to distract him from himself. Even so, Troy insists that Mario may be the brawn but Ian's got tons of brains. He totally can do it one day if he tries. How though?
