The sorceress had been bested and all the eggs had been retrieved. Spyro thought about what had happened when Hunter ran off with Bianca and how betrayed he felt, but notably he thought about Elora who came from Avalar just to see him.
Elora seemed to like him as soon as they met and he was fond of her attitude. After all, she was one of the only ones who gave him any sort of reward for his troubles. He also recalled that she quelled his frustration and tried to get him to relax during the fireworks show, a show he regretted not paying more attention to.
Since his timetable was free, he put in a call to Elora, asking her if she'd like to see another firework show. She was most eager to accept and soon enough, the two were once more on the soft grass as the light show started up.
Spyro liked the sensation of leaning against Elora, her arm wrapped around his shoulder. It wasn't like a normal arm on his shoulder that the likes of Hunter or the other dragons would do. Her grasp was softer, warmer. He didn't think anything of wrapping his wing around her shoulder in return.
It was shortly after that that he felt a brief warm sensation on his cheek and a little sound as Elora placed a small kiss on him. The sensation felt even better than the one she placed on his forehead after he defeated Ripto. Warmer and just somehow better.
He glanced at her and found her smiling softly as she looked back at him. Surely he could give her the same warm sensation if he did what she did. Turning, he placed a warm kiss on her own soft cheek. Spyro had taken daring jumps, fought vicious foes, but nothing made his heart race quite as hard as this.
Elora seemed to pull away slightly, but Spyro was comforted by a hand on his cheek, holding him still as she looked into his eyes and kissed him right on the lips.
Spyro felt so warm, so wonderful, he couldn't imagine pulling away from this sensation. He felt Elora leaning back, but he just followed her, his own hands coming to her face to gently hold her as he suckled on her lips while she gently tugged on his own. Soon, she was on her back and she grasped his head possessively as he lay atop of her, refusing to let go of her.
It was only when she was short of breath that they finally parted, breathing harder and smiling at each other. They didn't need to say anything as they just looked at one another before they laughed as Elora relaxed in the soft grass while Spyro lay atop of her as the fireworks sparked in the sky.
