As I was browsing the world of furry art, I stumbled upon this character: Puss 'n Boots. :3
Now, there've been many iterations of this character, but I'd not seen this one before ...or so I thought. Anyway, someone uploaded a screenshot of the character to their art gallery (seriously, people, don't do this!), saying,
"...This is the cutest character in this cartoon... Meow"
With no mention whatsoever of which cartoon (or anime, in this case) the character was from ...so I asked (because I know how to use words),
CHIPPY: "Give me the name of the cartoon and I'll (eventually) draw the character"
THEY: "Puss 'n Boots Travels Around The World"
...it was then I remembered I had in fact seen this character before: he's (essentially) Toei Animation's mascot. :p
So, true to my word, I have drawn Toei's Puss 'N Boots, roughly (very roughly!) as he appeared in 'Puss 'n' Boots Around the World'
Having seen the 'Around the World' movie, I can say ...it's a bunch of nothing (mostly fluff and chase scenes), but ...I would disagree with the uploader of the screenshot as to who the cutest character from the anime is---the cutest is clearly the evil (siamese?) cat trio chasing Puss and Co. (seriously, they're adorable!). :3
