So very recently, I wanted to draw an imp girl very closely inspired by Midna. and I had an idea for how to accomplish that.
A shadowy imp girl based around the mix of a gengar and a sableye. as their form is mixed together thanks to a very confusing lore and story made by a friend of mine Nocom.
In that world, missingno are a real threat, able to corrupt the very nature of begins, objects and areas. causing them to become known as 'missings'.
Jewel, was formally one such missing. corrupted from the essence of a gengar and a sableye, she fused into one shadowy creature that, once she was captured and her corruption removed, was left as one single being with no memory of anything before her becoming free of corruption.
as a result, she's very self conscious, having difficulty really fitting in. so she tends to act very sassy. Taking a very Tsundere to Kuudere type of personality.
Though, underneath it all, she's very shy, and has difficulty opening up to people. including the fact that she has Heterochromia. as her right eye is a deep sapphire blue, and her left eye is a bright ruby red.
she has two forms. a Shadow form, and a physical form.
her shadow form enables her to cling to any shadow case by anyone or anything. enabling her to melt into the shadow, and pass through any solid object. the corruption an subsequent defragmentation of her essence, caused a quirk in her ghostly powers, forcing her to only pass through objects as long as she can sustain her shadow form.
in said shadow form, she also has full control over her body's shape and size. being as shapable as the shadows themselves.
in physical form, her options are much more limited. able to float anywhere she wants, though is as tangable as any normal living thing. she can utilize psychic powers if needed to levitate objects she can't muster the physical strength to hold, or to get from a distance. And she has limited shape shifting abilities. often limited to being able to plump her figure in various ways, including but not limited to the size of her bust and hips.
