This drawing was heavily inspired by the stories told by a friend of mine going by the same name. It was fun to draw, though the huge background was still a pain to do. But I do feel I improved my skill a bit. Which makes it worth it.
I think your color touch is so calm and peaceful, the grasses and leaves are drawn one by one and they have the soft mood, the surface of the water is moderate, and I feel in this scene is quiet, when I see on the bottom side, I can feel the sound of the grasses breezed softly, and on seeing the upper side then the sound of water come to my ears, I like this relaxing atmosphere.
