I plan on using this in conjunction with my official reference sheet for Zephyr (https://inkbunny.net/s/2181333), I wanted to draw something with Ion and Zephyr when they were young and just starting on their journey but also wanted to update their official attire from that time period and the drawing just ended up as a clothing reference sheet (maybe in the future I will commission to get a better one done).
So this is Zephyr's attire/equipment from the age of 14 when he and Ion started their journey to the age of 20 where from the age of 18-20, Zephyr didn't go on any Hunting Contracts as to take care of a recovering Ion following his serious injury but still wore the pauldrons from time to time as a way to show Ion he was still committed to being a Hunter after Ion was recovered and ready to take on Hunting Contract again (Zephyr's official reference is from the age of 20 onward as after Ion made his recovery, he got new garbs fashioned for himself and Ion as kind of like a new start on their lives as Hunters). Zephyr keeps his hair shorter when he was younger, but once he became a Hunter at the age of 16 he started to let it grow out a bit and around the age of 20 he just let it grow to the same length as Ion always had. During his first Contract, he got into a situation that just showed him how dangerous being a Contract Hunter can be, so after he decided to add a bit more armor for defense, where he acquired his first set of pauldrons. Zephyr also occasionally wears this outfit between the age of 10 to 14 as well, usually when he was training or having small adventures with Ion and Flint, as they towards their dream of becoming Contract Hunters.
