I wasn't going to upload this, but ...why not?

I was watching *DBZ the other day while making some Underdog sketches (Underdog is my next ACO subject ...I mean, I just drew Top Dog, so Underdog seemed a good follow-up)) and among those sketches, I came up with this.

*I also watched the entire YYH vs Sensui drama---I was in an anime mood! XD ...and, yes, Kurama is on my draw list ...anyway

This scene was inspired from DBZ's Goku and Majin Vegeta's battle, only in my version the anime characters have been replaced with Underdog and Overcat. ^^;

Surprised that I like anime? Just because I don't draw much of it doesn't mean I don't enjoy it from time to time! XD

I've no idea how Overcat would look in-profile, so I just relied on intuition. ^^

You did good on Overcat's profile. I'm a little bit foggy on how much bigger he was to Underdog but this will do.

He was much bigger. In retrospect, I could have drawn Overcat closer with more 'twist' in his body (his back more toward us) to counter the size difference, but...

This is a 'quickie', and this one wasn't meant for publication. ^^

My line of thinking was, since this was to be a still image, it would be best to have the characters looking eye-to-eye---the message being 'they are equals' (insofar as power).

I dunno; prolly just writing from somewhere other than my fingers! XD

Oh you didin't have to do this but yeah that is about right. I just remember thinking of his size when he picked up a cow to get milk and compared to his underlings and their size when they kidnapped Polly to milk the stolen cows. Strange I still remember that.

Those old cartoons had great plots!

Nothing wrong with cartoons wanting to go deep, with emotionally vulnerable characters like so many today, but we will always have a need for the likes of cow-napping cats! XD
