It is August 1st, 1960, north of Encino, New Mexico.
Marge Coyote and the cubs; Jed, Clarence, Rex and Donna are travelling southbound on Highway 285 toward Encino in their brand new 1960 Plymouth station wagon.
This is shortly after Marge and the cubs rode past an accident scene where a 1958 Chevy carrying a beaver couple had overturned. They had already met two ambulances rushing to the scene. They now met a fire truck dispatched to the scene in case the overturned Chevy catches on fire (which it didn't).
Here they are riding past the home of the family of Rufus and Laura Opossum...The Coyote cubs know Rufus because he is the janitor/maintenance opossum at the school they attend.

In the foreground is Lisa, Lester and Vince...Vince is on the minibike.
On the other side of the highway, near the house and '53 Plymouth wagon, are youngest siblings, Dora and Sheila, playing with their dollhouse and dolls...Dora is to the left in the pic.
Daddy Rufus and Mama Laura are loading their '55 Dodge pickup to make a scrap metal run.
Presently, the opossums are watching the fire truck go by.
Marge and the cubs are travelling between 75 and 80 mph.
The fire truck it going at 60 mph.
