Last March, myself and many others learned the horrible and sad truth that a fellow furry artist named Makumo had passed away on June 28th 2019. Makumo has brought us her fantastic comic called "The fighters guild" and a followup comic using another artists characters (@misterpickleman) in a story called "Another Sleepover".
I would like to dedicate this drawing with Makumo's OC Popi, in her memory and in celebrating her life and they joy she brought all of us in her stories and characters. I understand that her account was deleted here on Inkbunny, but her comic and characters can still be found on some other sites. I can only hope that through her art and stories, she will live on in all of our hearts and memories.
Thank you for your understanding, and To Makumo if you are watching over us right now? Thank you so much for what you have brought us. We all miss you terribly, but you will not be forgotten.
Note: I understand that some people believe in the idea that Makumo had faked her death and is still
alive. According to those who are close friends to her have all stated that she is in fact
passed on and I also believe that this is the sad reality. However you are entitled to your opinion
and belief. Please understand that this is not the place to get into a heated debate on her being
alive or not. Please respect this request and Thank you for your understanding.
